3. TikTok account connection

SLG provides an optional Connect with TikTok feature. When you choose to connect, TikTok displays its own sign-in and consent process. We request only the permissions presented to you and authorized by you.

• user.info.basic: basic profile information, such as your display name and profile image.
• user.info.profile: additional account details, such as your TikTok username and profile link.
• user.info.stats: available account statistics, including follower count.

We use this information to associate the right TikTok account with an SLG member, maintain our social media roster, and produce creator and organizational reports. Authorized account details and follower statistics are recorded in an SLG-managed Google Sheet through Google Apps Script and are accessible to authorized personnel. Our integration may also process authentication tokens needed to access permitted account information or maintain the connection. We do not receive your TikTok password.

Connecting TikTok does not authorize SLG to publish videos or posts to your account. If you revoke access in TikTok, that stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase copies already recorded in SLG's systems; you can request their deletion as described in Section 7.

4. How we use information

We use information, as appropriate, to:

• Operate and improve our website and esports organization.
• Review applications, coordinate teams, and communicate with members.
• Maintain player and creator rosters and social media links.
• Report on authorized creator statistics and organization-wide totals.
• Process content submissions and support community activities.
• Protect the security and integrity of our accounts, services, and users.
• Meet applicable legal requirements and respond to legitimate requests.

5. Service providers and sharing

We may share information with trusted service providers as necessary to run our website and related workflows. These include website hosting, authentication, form processing, and cloud storage providers. Our TikTok integration uses TikTok and Google services, including Google Apps Script and Google Sheets.

Authorized SLG personnel may access information for roster management and reporting. Where a member provides a social profile for a public team page, the relevant username or profile link may be published with the member's permission. We do not sell information obtained through TikTok Login Kit or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legitimate rights and safety.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, such as maintaining active team and creator records, fulfilling permitted reporting activities, resolving disputes, or complying with applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to authorized personnel. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information maintained by SLG, subject to any legal exceptions. You may also ask questions about how your information is used. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

To stop SLG from accessing your TikTok account in the future, revoke the app's authorization through TikTok's settings. To remove previously stored information, including data in SLG's Google Sheets, also contact SLG using the details below. We will evaluate and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian where required by law. Our TikTok connection feature is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided information without required consent, contact us so we can review and address it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels when required.
